Place the flat side of the protractor to lie on one of the lines of a given angle and make sure that the other line lies inside the protractor, then you can draw a line with your finger to help you measure the angle.
It can be used to measure objects that are far away, by applying the same technique. Hold the device so that one of the lines of an angle to match the bottom of the protractor and then you can draw a line on the screen to match the other line and get the precise measurement.
